Bandwagon
Just like everyone else today, I’m going to say a few words on patch 2.3. I actually forgot about it being patch day yesterday when I got home and didnt log on until around 9:30, But didn’t have to wait longer than 5 mins for the rest of the patch to download. In the beginning I used to hate the background downloader, cause it always fucked with my game, but now have tweaked the settings and it downloads after I’m done playing. Last night I only needed 10Mbs left to complete the patch so I was happy.
Of course my addons were jacked, so I started out downloading the updates for those. Curse was not all bogged down like normal, I think cause it didn’t really break too many of them and only a few had to be updated. Got them updated and all is well.
Poked around a little in the guild bank, I dont have permissions to see anything, and I dont think my guild has set it up yet, but I like the idea of it. I didn’t really do anything on my lock last night, I did check out what the new badge rewards were. I wasn’t on long so I popped over to my shammy to see how much the xp nerf was and can’t really tell. I was still getting normal XP per kill, but I think the amount of XP needed to level was decreased. Not sure cause I dont remember what it was before the patch. I didnt get to finish any quests so don’t know what the XP gain there was like. If I’m home tonight, I will try some more questing and see. I hope its a big nerf so I can get my shammy high enough for Outlands with minimal time spent.
I didnt go into ZA last night, but when I logged in, there were some guildies in there. I’m not probably going to see much of ZA as our guild is only going to be doing it on the weekends and not part of proggresion and I am usually not around on the weekends.
I will know more when we do some raiding on Thursday. Hopefully Locks didnt get nerfed too bad, but of course they did cause everyone is scared of us and thinks we are overpowered. Pffft hardly.
